About Alan

Who is Alan Bill?

A young Slovak man who made his living working in high-rise construction and installing air conditioners is currently incarcerated in St. Genevieve Prison in the US state of Missouri.

Alan became interested in cryptocurrencies as a high school student. Like many of his peers. He spent the money he earned from it mainly on adrenaline sports and travel.

He loved rock climbing. Last December, he traveled to Chile with a backpack on his shoulders. He was arrested when he was changing planes in the US.

From the first moment he faces pressure

From the very first moment, he has been under heavy psychological pressure to confess to something that, in his own words, he did not commit.

In addition to FBI agents, he was also intimidated by the state attorney, Alan says. They threatened him with 270 years in prison if he did not confess. When he was arrested, the FBI agents would not even allow him to contact the Slovak consul or his attorney. Communication during the detention was to be done only through Google translate. To date, he has not had an interpreter available to him, despite the fact that he does not speak English.

He has faced several taunts and pressure from FBI agents. For example, despite the sub-zero temperatures, they took his winter jacket from him, saying he would never need it again…

Something’s not right here

It’s strange that a man who was supposed to be making millions was living in an ordinary block of flats. It’s strange that he doesn’t have money for American lawyers.

He even has a problem paying for phone calls when he wants to get in touch with his family from prison.

It’s equally strange that the man who was supposed to run an international criminal gang doesn’t speak any foreign languages.

Who is really behind this dirty business?

Will we ever know? US authorities have long been trying to convince the public that even the dark web is not safe for criminals. They want to send a clear signal to everyone that they are monitoring it and can successfully crack it.

The Americans say they’ve been watching Alan for more than two years. So how is it possible that he’s been imprisoned for seven months and yet not even received the indictment translated into Slovak? How is it possible that he still does not know who should be part of the gang he was supposed to be running?

Alan is afraid that no one is really interested in solving the case and catching the real perpetrators. He fears that he will die in an American prison before his innocence can be proven. He feels he is a victim of the secret services’ dirty game.

The fact is that during Alan’s time behind bars, his cellmate died under mysterious circumstances. He doesn’t feel safe and is afraid to leave his cell as he has witnessed several fights.

The conditions in detention are truly inhumane.

Alan is not even allowed to breathe fresh air. He is deathly pale, dizzy. He even passed out once and was left lying unconscious – no one came to help him. Alan’s hair is falling out, his eyebrows are falling out, his nose and mouth are bleeding. He has lost weight rapidly and has aged. His fellow prisoners are rapists, killers and members of the Mexican mafia.

Even so, they pressure him to confess to what he says he didn’t do.

The investigation and his stay in this prison is hell for him. Often, in a state of despair, he even catches himself thinking that death might actually be his redemption.

Alan is also worried that his father is very seriously ill. He would like to hug him again. But his father no longer has the strength or the money to travel to an American prison to see him.

Let us not allow the Americans to imprison a Slovak citizen in inhumane conditions and violate his fundamental rights.

Let us not allow a repeat of the case of the Slovak in Belgium who was tortured to death by the guards! Or the case of the Slovak student who was tortured by the police in Miami a few weeks ago.

Let us not allow the American authorities to silence the truth!

Let us unite and help Alan in his unequal fight against the American justice machine. Let us give him the right to a truly fair trial.
